Sheraton Jacksonville Hotel Opens
Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. and Driftwood Hospitality announced recently that the Sheraton Jacksonville Hotel has opened its doors and is warmly welcoming guests. The services and amenities at the hotel will exceed expectations even of the most capricious guests. The newly-built 159-room hotel offers guests Sheraton’s signature amenities and services designed to provide an excellent service.
The hotel is located in southeast Jacksonville in the heart of Deerwood Park and just minutes away from popular Jacksonville attractions such as the Avenues Shopping Mall, the Mayo Clinic Jacksonville and many other famous places.
According to Hospitality Net, guests of the Sheraton Jacksonville Hotel are invited to relax with fellow travelers in the hotel’s energetic and interactive lobby space, allowing them to check their e-mail, research local attractions and even print boarding passes. In addition to that, those who are traveling on business, can use the 856 square feet of meeting space.
Other features also include a new state-of-the-art fitness center developed in partnership with Core Performance, an organization that trains elite athletes and Olympians.
Sheraton Jacksonville Hotel will also feature the area’s first Shula’s 347 Grill, a casual venue in the tradition of Shula’s Steak Houses, named in honor of famed Coach Don Shula. The restaurant will exclusively serve Certified Angus Beef and the renowned SHULA CUTS as part of its gourmet menu. Three private dining rooms will also be available for business meetings or special occasions.
